Port Harcourt Socialite, Ceemore Arrested and Areaigned For Assault In Nightclub

Popular Port Harcourt socialite, Ikechi Maduba, popularly known as Ceemore, has been arraigned in court following an alleged assault on a group of women at Black Box, a prominent nightclub in the city.

The incident reportedly took place during a birthday celebration and gained widespread attention after a video of the altercation went viral on social media. The women involved sustained visible injuries and accused Ceemore of being responsible for the attack, sparking public outrage.

The Rivers State Police Command, through its spokesperson SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed Ceemore’s arrest, stating that the Commissioner of Police ordered a prompt investigation into the matter.

Ceemore was taken into custody, gave a statement, and was formally charged to court on June 17, 2025. The women were also interviewed as part of the investigation.

SP Iringe-Koko reiterated the Command’s commitment to tackling gender-based violence and assured the public that justice will take its full course.
