AT 5 YEARS OF PROGRESS: HON. UROYE AUSTIN, PhD SALUTES OGIAME ATUWATSE III, CALLS FOR MASSIVE TURNOUT AT WARRI ROYAL HOMECOMING
WARRI- The Member representing Warri South Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Uroye Austin, PhD, has joined millions of Itsekiri sons and daughters to celebrate His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, on the occasion of his 5th Coronation Anniversary.
In a goodwill message issued in Warri on Tuesday, the lawmaker described the last five years of Ogiame’s reign as years of “peace, cultural reawakening, and purposeful leadership” that have restored pride to Warri Kingdom and repositioned the throne as a moral compass for the Niger Delta.
According to Hon. Uroye, the Olu’s commitment to education, youth development, and cultural preservation has given Warri a new identity. He noted that through strategic engagements and peace building efforts, His Majesty has united Itsekiri people at home and in the diaspora while projecting the kingdom’s heritage to the world.
The Warri South I lawmaker, therefore, called on all well meaning Itsekiri people to troop home en masse for the “Global Homecoming” celebrations. He prayed for God’s guidance, sound health, and many more years of glorious reign for Ogiame, saying Warri Kingdom is poised for greater achievements under his visionary leadership.
