I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Superintendent of Police Ikwen Orvenonne on her well-deserved appointment as the National Coordinator of POCACOV.
POCACOV, as an initiative of the Nigeria Police Force, was established to bridge the gap between the police and communities, fostering effective community policing through enlightenment, mediation, and collaborative problem-solving. The body remains committed to organizing campaigns against cultism, drug abuse, and other societal vices. It is an organization centred entirely on the wellbeing of society, hence the fitting slogan: “POCACOV – It’s All About You.”
As someone who has been actively involved in this noble campaign, I am confident that your leadership will further strengthen the organization, inspire greater participation, and deliver impactful results that will help restore sanity within our communities—especially in Delta State.
