OLU OF WARRI INAUGURATES NEWLY ELECTED ITSEKIRI YOUTHS, DONATES N50,000,000 AND LOGO
His Majesty, Ogiamẹ Atuwatse III, CFR the Olu of Warri has sworn into office the newly elected executive of the merged youth groups of Itsekiri, UGBARAJO ITSEKIRI YOUTHS (UIY) on Monday September 1, 2025 in Warri.
The monarch who donated N50,000,000 naira to the purse of the new association tasked them to maintain integrity and be proper ambassadors of Itsekiri youths all over the world. He also unveiled the new emblem of the new association shortly after the swearing-in ceremony at his Warri Residence.
The Joseph Okotie-led Executive which was elected on Saturday August 30, 2025 pledged to work according the charter establishing the organization and expend the funds judiciously for the advancement of the ideals of the association.
