Rivers State Head of Service Resigns, Iyingi Brown Appointed Acting Replacement
The Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (rtd) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has announced the resignation of the Head of Service, Dr. George Nwaeke, FCA, MNI.
In a statement, the Administrator appreciated Dr. Nwaeke’s contributions and wished him well in his future endeavors.
Pending the appointment of a new Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Iyingi Brown, the Permanent Secretary for Welfare in the Office of the Head of Service, will serve in an acting capacity.
The Administrator reaffirmed his commitment to neutrality, peace, and stability in the state.
