Media Personality Dave of Africa Criticizes Lady for Faking Madness for Content at Oil Mill in Port Harcourt
Port Harcourt-based media personality, Owudogu Dave popularly known as Dave of Africa, has called out a young woman who staged a social media stunt, falsely claiming she had just run mad in Port Harcourt.
In the viral video, the lady was dropped off from a keke (tricycle) at Oil Mill, where she began acting insane. Bystanders gathered, believing she had truly lost her mind due to her disoriented appearance.
Soon, rumors spread that she had been a victim of ritualists or Yahoo boys (internet fraudsters).
However, she later came online to debunk the claims, explaining that it was just content and that she was perfectly fine.
In a video posted by Rivers State News, she clarified that she was not used by a Yahoo boy, but the content was meant to make it look like she was. She assured everyone that she is healthy and that it was all an act.
Reacting to the stunt, Dave of Africa strongly condemned such behavior, warning that using serious issues like mental health as content could have real-life consequences.
“These things actually happen in real life. If people keep staging such content for clout, a time will come when no one will assist those who truly need help, especially women,” he stated.
