Governor Fubara Marks Two Years in Office, Highlights Progress Amid Challenges

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara on Thursday commemorated his second year in office, describing the journey as “challenging but progressive and impactful.”

In a heartfelt address, the Governor thanked the people of Rivers State for their trust and support since his inauguration on May 29, 2023. He acknowledged political turbulence but reaffirmed his commitment to delivering good governance, citing achievements in healthcare, education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and women’s inclusion.

Despite setbacks, the Governor pledged to prioritize peace, security, and socio-economic development, urging unity and reconciliation. “The time to rebuild and rise is now,” he declared, calling for collective efforts to advance the state.

He expressed optimism for the future, vowing to consolidate gains and make tough decisions in the state’s best interest.
