IYE Welcomes Itsekiris and Deltans to 2026
The leadership of Itsekiri Young Elites (IYE), under the stewardship of its President Comr. Lily-white O. Esigbone and Secretary Comr. Eboma Touyo, warmly extends heartfelt greetings to all Itsekiris, Deltans, Itsekiri youths, and young intellectuals as we step into the year 2026.
The leadership notes that a new year presents a renewed opportunity for reflection, growth, and collective advancement. IYE therefore calls on Itsekiri youths and intellectuals across all communities, both at home and in the diaspora, to embrace unity of purpose, constructive engagement, and responsible leadership in the pursuit of a stronger and more progressive Itsekiri Nation.
As an elitist youth platform committed to intellectual development, advocacy, and the defense of Itsekiri integrity, IYE reaffirms its resolve to continue promoting peace, truth, and strategic dialogue on issues affecting the people. The group encourages youths to shun division, misinformation, and destructive politics, and instead channel their energy toward education, innovation, community service, and principled activism.
IYE also extends its goodwill to the good people of Delta State, expressing hope for peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and inclusive development among all ethnic nationalities.
