Ignatius Ajuru University Bans Signing-Out Parties and Vehicle Parades
Management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in Port Harcourt has banned all signing-out parties, vehicle parades, and similar activities on campus as final-year students write their examinations.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Prof. Philemon W. Iyagba, said the decision followed reports of cult-related activities disturbing peace on campus.
The school also announced that students will not be allowed to bring vehicles onto campus on Thursday, September 18, and Friday, September 19, 2025.
The management urged students to focus on their exams and warned that anyone who disobeys the rules will face disciplinary action.
