Leadership and Members of Itsekiri Youths Elites (IYE) Pay Homage to His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, The Olu of Warri at 4th Coronation Anniversary

The Itsekiri Youths Elites – IYE, a foremost political and socio-cultural youth group in Warri Kingdom, joined the multitude of Itsekiris and friends of the kingdom in celebrating the 4th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, The Olu of Warri.

Led by its President Comr Lily-white O Esigbone and Secretary Comr. Tuoyo Eboma an other Executives and members from across Warri South, Warri North, and Warri South-West LGAs, the group paid homage to the revered monarch, reaffirming their unwavering loyalty to the Warri throne.

Speaking at the palace grounds in Aghofen, in Warri City, the leadership of IYE described His Majesty as “a shining light and a custodian of the Itsekiri people’s heritage whose reign has brought dignity, peace, and development to Iwereland.”

The homage was marked with colorful displays of culture, solidarity songs, and heartfelt prayers for the continued reign of Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR. Members of the IYE expressed pride in being part of the celebration, noting that the Olu’s leadership has inspired youths towards unity, empowerment, and the preservation of Itsekiri values.

According to the group, the anniversary was not only a celebration of Ogiame’s ascension to the throne but also a reaffirmation of the bond between the monarch and the Itsekiri youth. They further pledged to remain steadfast in defending the kingdom’s territorial integrity, upholding its cultural values, and supporting the vision of His Majesty for a prosperous Warri Kingdom.

The 4th Coronation Anniversary of Ogiame Atuwatse III drew dignitaries, chiefs, cultural groups, and well-wishers from across Nigeria and the diaspora. The event was marked by traditional rites, royal blessings, cultural performances, and communal joy as Warri Kingdom stood still in honor of its monarch.
