Security Alert: Call Mahmood Yakubu to order now as his actions will spark sudden Security breach in Delta – IIG to Tinubu
Itsekiri Interest Group has beckoned on President Tinubu to caution the outgoing INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu over his nefarious plans to adopt the fraudulent INEC Ward Delineation conducted in collaboration with the Ijaws and Urhobos as the final working document before his departure from office very soon.
The group accused the INEC Chairman, Yakubu of biased and financially induced by Tompolo’s dollarized tactics, which he has been using to close the mouths of government officials in the Federal and State levels from speaking the truth despite all the evidences presented to them by the Itsekiri people as the rightful owners of the entire Warri Federal Constituency.
According to the Itsekiri Interest Group, the ownership of Warri North, Warri South and Warri South-West have since been won by the Itsekiri people up to the Supreme Court level and they see no reason why Mahmood Yakubu and his team would want to upturn the Supreme Court judgements to favour the Tompolo and his cohorts if not that they have been financially rewarded.
The group made the call in a statement released to Newsmen recently even as they called on the President of Nigeria to immediately stop the plot of Mahmood Yakubu whose tenure is elapsing in few days so as not to cause another crisis in Warri that will eventually affect the economy of the Nation.

URGENT SECURITY ALERT
We are constrained to alert the public and, in particular, the security agencies of the state of a plot to trigger protracted violence in the Warri Federal Constituency. This will be the case if the Chairman of INEC follows-through with his nefarious plot to endorse the fraudulent report o the Supreme Court ordered, Warri Federal Constituency re-delineation.
“The said report has been overwhelmingly proven to be fraudulent, and the product of a criminal conspiracy between the apex leadership of INEC and a certain ethnic warlord bent on annexing the Itsekiri homeland.
“Our information is that the INEC chairman feels obliged to consumate his end of a criminal bargain he entered into with the warlord before his final exit from office in a few days.
“We hereby call on the National Security Adviser and other relevant organs of state to immediately restrain the outgoing chairman of INEC from doing any such thing. The immediate consequences of such an action will be cataclysmic violence, which the nation can ill afford at this time.
“We, the Itsekiri people, having endured a genocidal war of attrition with the Ijaws in the early 2000s, refuse to become victims of the subterfuge of a criminally empowered warlord who supervised the massacre of our people not too long ago.
