KOKO AGOG AS COMR. OKORODUDU GBESIMI CHRISTOPHER APPRECIATES WARRI NORTH PEOPLE, ICG NATIONAL LEADERSHIP OVER SUCCESSFUL INAUGURATION
The Warri North Local Government Area was filled with excitement, solidarity, and renewed political consciousness as the Warri North Coordinator of the Itsekiri Grassroots Coalition (ICG), Comr. Okorodudu Gbesimi Christopher, extended heartfelt appreciation to the people of Warri North and the national leadership of the coalition following the successful inauguration of the Warri North LGA Executives held in Koko.
The colorful and well-attended event, which attracted Itsekiri leaders, youths, women, elders, political stakeholders, and supporters from different communities across Warri North, was described by many as a strong demonstration of unity, loyalty, and grassroots acceptance of the Itsekiri Grassroots Coalition movement.
Speaking shortly after the inauguration ceremony, Comr. Okorodudu Gbesimi Christopher expressed deep gratitude to the entire people of Warri North for their massive turnout, peaceful conduct, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout the event. According to him, the success recorded during the inauguration was a clear indication that the people are ready for a new era of purposeful grassroots mobilization, political participation, and collective advancement of the Itsekiri nation.
He specially commended the National Coordinator of the Itsekiri Grassroots Coalition, Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema, alongside members of the national executive and leaders of the movement, for their dedication, sacrifices, and visionary leadership which have continued to strengthen the coalition across the Niger Delta and beyond.
Comr. Okorodudu noted that the presence of various party faithful, community leaders, youths, market women, and stakeholders from various parts of Warri North gave the inauguration a historic touch and further proved that the Itsekiri people remain united in pursuit of progress, justice, equity, and political inclusion.
He further appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee, security personnel, volunteers, and supporters who worked tirelessly to ensure that the inauguration in Koko was peaceful, successful, and memorable.
According to him, the newly inaugurated executives are fully prepared to work closely with the grassroots, promote unity among Itsekiri communities, defend the collective interests of the people, and support every genuine cause that will bring development to Warri North and the entire Itsekiri nation.
The Warri North Coordinator also used the opportunity to call on all Itsekiri sons and daughters, especially the youths, to remain steadfast, united, and committed to the struggle for political fairness, economic empowerment, and protection of ancestral heritage.
He emphasized that the strength of the Itsekiri nation lies in unity, mutual support, and the ability of the people to stand together irrespective of political or social differences.
“The successful inauguration in Koko is not just an ordinary gathering; it is a movement of hope, unity, and collective determination to move our people forward. I sincerely appreciate every individual who contributed to this success. Together, we shall continue to strengthen the voice of our people and build a better future for coming generations,” Comr. Okorodudu Gbesimi Christopher stated.
The inauguration ceremony also witnessed moments of celebration, solidarity chants, empowerment gestures, and renewed commitment by members of the coalition to continue mobilizing support for the growth and advancement of the Itsekiri nation at the grassroots level.
