Coalition of Warri North Itsekiri Community Youths Forum Invites Lawuru Promise to Present Manifesto for House of Representatives Ambition
Warri, Delta State — The Coalition of Warri North Itsekiri Community Youths Forum has formally extended an invitation to frontline aspirant, Lawuru Promise, to present his manifesto of service ahead of his ambition to represent the Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
In a statement issued by the leadership of the coalition, the youths emphasized the need for issue based engagement and informed political participation, noting that the interactive session would provide an opportunity for Lawuru Promise to clearly articulate his plans, policies, and legislative priorities for the people of Warri North and the broader Itsekiri nation.
According to the group, the initiative is part of a broader effort to deepen democratic values, promote accountability, and ensure that aspiring leaders are adequately scrutinized by the people they seek to represent.
“We believe leadership is about service, vision, and accountability. This invitation is not just ceremonial, but a deliberate effort to engage Mr. Lawuru Promise on matters that affect our people, from infrastructure and education to youth empowerment, security, and economic development,” the statement read.
The coalition further stressed that the forum would serve as a non-partisan platform where critical questions would be asked and honest answers expected, enabling the electorate to make informed decisions ahead of the elections.
Community stakeholders, youth leaders, and representatives from various Itsekiri communities across Warri North are expected to be in attendance. The event is also anticipated to attract political observers and civil society groups interested in grassroots democratic processes.
While commending Lawuru Promise for his willingness to engage with the youths, the coalition urged other aspirants seeking elective positions to emulate such openness and subject themselves to public scrutiny.
“This is the kind of political culture we want to build, one where leaders are accessible, transparent, and committed to the collective progress of our people,” the statement added.
The date, venue, and modalities for the manifesto presentation are expected to be announced in due course.
