2027 : Warri Youth Group Urges Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema to Join Delta South Senatorial Race

A Warri based socio political group, Warri Youth for Good Governance (WYGG), has called on Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema to contest the Delta South Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections. The group said the appeal followed a careful assessment of the leadership needs of the district ahead of the next electoral cycle.

In a statement issued today Sunday, the President of the group, Comrade Eboma Tuoyo, said Edema possesses the competence, experience, and leadership qualities required to effectively represent Delta South at the National Assembly. He noted that the district deserves a forward thinking and people oriented leader.

Tuoyo explained that Edema’s track record in public engagement and community development distinguishes him as a suitable candidate capable of driving meaningful representation. According to him, the call is a reflection of the growing demand among youths and stakeholders for credible leadership.

The group maintained that early consultations and advocacy were necessary to encourage capable individuals to step forward ahead of the 2027 elections. It added that Edema’s emergence would inspire confidence among constituents and promote inclusive governance.

While urging Edema to heed the call, WYGG reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising grassroots support for leaders who demonstrate integrity, vision, and capacity to deliver democratic dividends to the people of Delta South.
