Ologbotsere Leads Chiefs to Chief Olley’s Daughter’s Traditional Marriage in Warri

The Ologbotsere of Warri Chief Engr Dr Oma Eyewuoma and Chairman Warri Council of Chiefs led a high-powered delegation of Ojoye (chiefs) to the traditional marriage ceremony of the daughter of Chief Edwin Olley at his residence in Warri, Delta State. The colourful ceremony attracted prominent Itsekiri chiefs, family members and well-wishers, turning the Olley residence into a hub of rich cultural expression.

Hence, the event was steeped in age-long Itsekiri marriage rites, with every stage of the ceremony carefully observed in line with tradition. From the formal presentation of marriage items to the symbolic rites that seal the union, the customs of the Itsekiri people were meticulously followed, reflecting the kingdom’s deep respect for its heritage.

Chiefs of Warri Kingdom were fully on ground, providing guidance and oversight to ensure that no aspect of the traditional process was compromised.
