Chief Oma-Eyewoma, the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Leads Delegation of His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR to Celebrate the Legacy of Oba Okunade Sijuwade CFR, The 50th Ooni of Ife
The 10th memorial anniversary of the revered 50th Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade CFR, was observed with great reverence and pageantry, reflecting his towering legacy and profound impact on the Yoruba nation and Nigeria at large.
His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, the Olu of Warri, was ably represented by a distinguished delegation of chiefs led by Chief (Engr.) Oma Eyewuoma, the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom and Chairman of the Warri Council of Chiefs. The delegation also included Chief Mene Brown, the Ogwa-Olusan of Warri Kingdom, and Chief Temisan Grant, the Agura-Otiri of Warri Kingdom. In a show of deep respect and solidarity, Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema, the sole representative of the Olu of Warri to NNPCL and JV partners joined in paying tribute to the legacy of the late monarch.
Chief Oma Eyewuoma, as the incumbent Ologbotsere, continues to play a critical role in fostering unity, peace, and progress within Warri Kingdom. His installation as Ologbotsere was a landmark event, signifying the renewed commitment of the Olu of Warri to inclusive leadership and development. As a traditional prime minister and senior advisor to the Olu, the Ologbotsere’s role in governance and cultural preservation remains vital, and Chief Eyewuoma has distinguished himself with unwavering dedication and statesmanship.
The commemoration of Oba Okunade Sijuwade CFR was attended by eminent royal fathers, top government dignitaries, and the Governor of Lagos State, further underscoring the enduring influence and admiration the late Ooni commanded.
