Governor Fubara Honours Chief Mike Elechi At Home Warming Ceremony
Rivers State Governor, His Excellency Siminalayi Fubara, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, graced the housewarming ceremony of elder statesman and business mogul, Chief Mike Elechi, in Elele, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The governor was warmly received by Chief Elechi and a jubilant crowd of well-wishers and supporters who thronged the venue to witness the celebration.
Governor Fubara was taken on a guided tour of the magnificent residence and later hosted in an atmosphere of elegance and camaraderie by his host.
In a gesture of solidarity, the Simplified Movement, Ikwerre Chapter, presented the governor with a commemorative photo frame to mark the occasion.
Accompanying the governor were prominent Rivers leaders and stakeholders, including former Governor Sir Celestine Omehia, former Green Eagles captain Chief Adokiye Amiesiemaka, Chief Ambrose Nwuzi, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja, and Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, among others.
