“We will not tolerate any form of breakdown to Law and Order”- Hon- Agbateyiniro
The Warri South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac along side his counterparts in Warri North, Hon. Festus Ashima, Warri South West, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni, and Isoko South, Hon. Ovoke Warri earlier today had a crucial peace stakeholders meeting with representatives of the Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality, the Urhobo ethnic Nationality and the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality at the Governors Annex, Edjeba.
The Agenda of the meeting was to inform the three Ethnic nationality of Governments Position to ensuring peace is sustained in Warri and her Envions.
While Addressing the house, all three chairmen in the Warri Federal Constituency Pleaded with the youths to embrace peace and shun violence.
“Peace at all cost is cheaper than war and we must be deliberate about preaching peace to our followers”- Hon. Festus Ashima.
The Area commander, Graham Imade emphasized on the need to be Law abiding as the security agencies are on Alert to maintain peace in the Area.
All three Ethnic Nationalities Appreciated the timely intervention and assured Government of reaching out to their respective communities to preach Peace.
The meeting was attended by all security Agencies.
