ITSEKIRI INTEREST GROUP CONGRATULATES PRINCE RENO OMOKRI
The Itsekiri Interest Group (IIG) has extended its warm congratulations to Prince Reno Omokri, a distinguished son of the Warri Kingdom, in recognition of his continued contributions to national discourse, social advocacy, and the promotion of Itsekiri heritage.
In the statement issued on Saturday, 29th November 2025, the Group described Prince Omokri as “a proud Itsekiri man whose global influence continues to shine positive light on the Itsekiri Nation and the Warri Kingdom.”
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Chairman, Comrade Gbubemi Awala, commended Prince Omokri for his unwavering commitment to justice, social development, and humanitarian causes.
> “Prince Reno Omokri has consistently demonstrated integrity, courage, and a deep sense of responsibility to society. His voice on national issues, as well as his philanthropic efforts, continue to inspire many, particularly the younger generation of Itsekiri people,” Comrade Awala said.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the Itsekiri Interest Group, Mr. Eyitemi Atake, emphasized that the recognition is part of the Group’s efforts to celebrate illustrious Itsekiri sons and daughters whose achievements uplift the Warri Kingdom.
> “We are proud to identify with Prince Reno Omokri. His contributions bring honour to the Itsekiri Nation, and we pray for greater heights in his endeavours,” Mr. Atake noted.
The Itsekiri Interest Group reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, cultural pride, and developmental initiatives across Itsekiri communities.
