Bonny LGA Administrator Awards N1 Million to UTME Top Scorer
The Administrator of Bonny LGA in Rivers State, Mr. Kingsley N. Banigo, has awarded N1 million to Master Gideon Senibo John-Hart for his outstanding performance in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Gideon, a student of Lucille Education Centre, Bonny, scored 360 out of 400, emerging as the top scorer in Bonny LGA and among the top three in Rivers State. He sat for the exam on April 26, 2025, at the JAMB CBT Centre in the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny.
At a brief ceremony held at the Government Lodge, Mr. Banigo praised Gideon’s academic excellence, describing the award as a motivation for other students. He reaffirmed the LGA’s commitment to education and youth development.
Dignitaries at the event included Gideon’s mother, Mrs. Boma Senibo John-Hart; his teacher, Mr. Daniel Orjime; Engr. Soparagha Jumbo, Chief of Staff; and Engr. Tamunotonye Adolphus Jumbo, Secretary of Council.
