Hon. Oboku Oforji Empowers Constituents with Vehicles, Cash, and Equipment In Yenagoa
Bayelsa State politician Hon. Oboku Oforji has once again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots empowerment by distributing a wide range of support packages worth hundreds of millions to constituents in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The empowerment initiative saw the distribution of 79 mini buses, 5 pickup Vans, 12 tricycles (Keke), 17 cars, over 200 sewing machines, 80 grinding machines, 800 bags of fertilizer, and more than 200 spray cans to beneficiaries across the constituency.
In addition, Oforji, who represents Yenagoa and Kolokuma/Opokuma Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, provided N500,000 each to 114 women to support their small scale businesses.
Notably, 10 state-of-the-art wheelchairs were also distributed to persons with disabilities, ensuring that no segment of the community was left behind in the empowerment drive.
