The leadership of the Itsekiri Youths Elites (IYE) has formally lauded Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, the Olu of Warri, recognizing him as an exceptional bridge-builder within both local and international contexts. In an official statement delivered by the Chairman of IYE in Warri, Comrade Lily-white O. Esigbone, Ogiame Atuwatse III was not merely described as a monarch but was characterized as an international phenomenon who has significantly elevated the perception of African kingship and traditional systems of governance.
The Chairman highlighted Ogiame’s transformative efforts in enhancing the value systems associated with African traditional institutions, emphasizing that his contributions have had a profound impact on both cultural and societal norms. He is esteemed not only as a proponent of peace and philanthropy but also as a steadfast advocate for the underprivileged, with a noteworthy track record of humanitarian assistance within Warri Kingdom, Nigeria and beyond.
